Data Management Plan
Ränttipenkki (The Rant Bench) project, jeesjeesgood collective

  1. DATA MATERIAL DESCRIPTION

We collect questionnaire responses via the Webropol system. Webropol meets the requirements set by GDPR and information security and its ISO27001-certified servers are located in Finland. More information about the information security of the Webropol system can be found at https://webropol.fi/.

We collect data anonymously. The respondent of the survey may leave an email address to join the mailing list, however, the email information is not connected with the responses.

We also collect audio data using Elisa Corporation's voicemail messages. Phone numbers are not connected to voicemail messages. All written and voicemail messages are managed anonymously.

  2. ETHICAL AND OTHER ISSUES TO CONSIDER WHEN COLLECTING MATERIAL

The data includes Webropol questionnaire responses, which include the respondent's email address, if the respondent has chosen to join our email list, and the telephone number of the caller to the answering machine. We do not collect any other name or contact information.

Direct identifying information contained in the data (such as email addresses or phone numbers) will not be included in the material published by our collective. If the collected data is used in our operations, the identifying information will be removed.

People who responded to the Webropol survey and left a voice message have been informed about the topic and purpose of our project.

No agreement has been made with the company or any other third party regarding the processing of the data.

  3. MATERIAL DOCUMENTATION AND METADATA

Survey responses are collected via the Webropol system. Voicemail messages are collected via the voicemail service provided by Elisa Corporation.

Interview data will be collected during spring 2025. The date will be marked on the collected data.

The aim is to name the data files in a way that makes it immediately clear what they contain/regard – for example, project name / questionnaire / date.

  4. STORAGE OF RESEARCH MATERIAL

The research and survey material is stored on the collective's computer disk.
